I know how impatient we all are to get quick results, and whilst pitching CAN lead to very fast results for some, for others, it’s about trusting the process.
Just because you don’t hear back from someone immediately, doesn’t mean that they aren’t getting your emails, or paying attention to what you are sending them.
Sometimes you need to send somone 5/6 emails before they engage with you.
Pitching is ultimately about forming relationships - LONG TERM ONES, and not about booking immediate jobs. Pitching WILL lead to job bookings, but how fast that will be, I cannot guarantee.
My favourite saying: get comfortable with delayed gratification.

“I’m going to annoy people”
This is usually everyone’s biggest fear: coming across as spammy! I hear you, it was one of my worries as well. But what if I told you that all brands, producers, art directors and marketing managers WANT to hear from photographers. They don’t have time to spend hours searching for “the next big thing.” Save them time and go to them. They’ll thank you!

“My work isn’t good enough yet”
Says who? You? You know yourself that you’re the harshest critic of your work. What if you took a chance on yourself, and let your dream clients decide if you’re good enough, or not? Myself and my students have been surprised so many times when brands we thought were way out of our league, actually said they wanted to work with us!

“It’s too expensive for me”
I get it - it’s a large investment! But I want you to view this as just that, an investment. All you need to do is book ONE job, and you’ll make your money back.
