The White Collection | Tom Lane

I've been teasing and mentioning the work I did with Jayne Ireland, the designer behind the brand "Tom Lane" for a few weeks now. The anticipation to share these images has been at an all time high, mainly because I really love them, but also because I loved working on this shoot.

When you're a photographer and you find yourself a good team of people to work with, there really is nothing better. Ione Kutz (Ione's Makeup and Nails) is a make up artist that I've wanted to work with for a very long time, but dates had always clashed, so we'd never managed to work together, until the Tom Lane shoot. I knew she would be incredible, but she really surpassed all my expectations with the make up for the day! It was natural and subtle, but perfectly executed.

Jayne and I have worked together on many shoots in the past, mostly while we were at Falmouth University together. We became great friends, and I always loved the designs she created. Jayne left uni, and while I spent all my time working on Atlas, she started up her own fashion brand. When she asked me if I would be interested in shooting her lookbook, I jumped at the chance. Jayne is based up in Lincolnshire now, so she travelled all the way down to Cornwall just for this shoot. Bar an agency model cancellation late the night before the shoot, everything went smoothly. In fact, the model cancelation probably worked out perfectly because at the last minute, Emma, jumped in to save the day.

Emma is also a fashion photographer, still studying at Falmouth University, but we have a close connection. Emma is also from Geneva! She arrived in Falmouth to begin her degree right as I was completing mine, and I photographed her for a lot of my final year. You can probably see why; she's a natural in front of the camera!

The images bellow are the studio shots we did on the day for the Tom Lane "White Collection." We did a whole other set of images on location, so I'll be sharing those in a few days time as well... make sure you check back!
